Hello mate. I just saw your post about beaching your privilege and was just asking the boat brokers about this on the 37 I'm about get. Do you know if they can all be beached ok? I think this video is from the work that started on 'shurkhan' - is your hull the same style and is there any particular way to beach them in your experience if so?
Hi Mike, I typed in a question asking if anyone has had any experience keeping their boat with TMM and I saw your message from last year. I'd love to hear your thoughts on working with them. I plan on buying a Leopard powercat 47 from Moorings and then my idea was to sign on with TMM to manage it. I want to spend 2 or 3 months in the winter on board then let TMM do their management the other 9 months. Any advice or stories about doing this would be very helpful.
Hi Mike. I have not used the private message before. hope you get this. I really do have a lot of questions to ask about privilege boats. I have not sailed on one yet but I like the look of them and today they would be my favorite design in my price range or really just out of my price range.
I would really like to liveaboard a boat someday and I think that chartering a catamaran is the way to go. In a previous post you mentioned having made money while your catamran was chartered. Did you mean that the boat was paid off after 5 years? Or, did you mean that your payments were covered for 5 years then you resumed payments? If your boat wasn't paid for do you mind telling me how much you bought your boat for and you owed once the charter company stopped using it? I would really appreciate any info. Thank you
trust you are well and enjoying life cruising in the Caribbean, hopefully South of the hurricane belt!
Because of budget constraints we're now looking seriously to purchase either a Lagoon TPI 37 or a privilege 37 - in good condition and set up for cruising.
We're planning to view a few opportunities in your area in the coming weeks.
Do you know of any boats that fit our requirements ??
last but not least, it would be nice to meet you :-)
