- Biography
- My first sail was at 6-weeks-old on Georgian Bay near Parry Sound. Ever since, I've spent a part of every summer in some way in a boat. For the past few decades it has been a laser on Georgian Bay, but those day-sails sustained me for the year.
I once crewed by luck on a 36-footer from Marseilles to northern Spain, and I want more of that in my life.
I live in Asheville, NC, and I just bought my first big boat, the Hunter 27, docked an hour away on Lake James, and a small 15-foot Galilee for a local lake. I am getting my wind back.
My boyfriend and I want to sail the Hunter around Bimini. I'm building my skills with practice and friends who know how. I'm eager to meet people and learn here on Cruisers Forum.
