hi hugo,
have just seen your comments about boat purchase in europe,did you sort it out?
I am australian (living in sydney) with french passport and want to buy a 27ft in eu and travel the canals and med,,, any comments on where to buy and insure it.

Hi Hugo, just saw your message. We had no problems buying our Contessa. Just had a piece of paper saying we paid for it. No one asked us for any more so we did not bother. We started in Eindhoven and did the canals to the coast. Went along the Belgian coast and headed to the UK but got beaten up. Had a great time and would like to go back sometime. I think the boat we bought was ideal at 28ft. If you need any more info please msg me or call.
