Hi Heath 68. I am also in Spain and used to be at YachtPort Cartagena. There was very little, if any, chlorine in the water there, I tested it. I am currently docked in the Mar Menor. I happen to know a guy who is an expert on all things boat related who lives just outside Cartagena and if you like, I could ask him if he would be willing to go down to your boat and give you a primer on your watermaker and how it works and what to do with it. He currently takes care of another boat at Yacht Port. He has built watermakers, knows them extremely well.
