I want to make sure my posts are in accordance with your procedures and rules. Can you please indicate that I am a commercial vendor on my profile?

I don't want to confuse anyone

    Thanks Tony (Hatchmasters)

Hi, I don't know who else to ask so I hope your don't mind me asking you. How does one become a Vendor?

I am a member in good standing (I hope) and I would like to add 1 link to my signature. It would go to www southerncrosses com

I read that CF grants vendor status to members in good standing. The vendor is allowed to put one link in the signature section of posts.

How do I gain this exalted status?

All I would like to do is add the link to my signature.

    Thanks for your time,

    Larry Annen

    Hi Gord,
You really do a great job with sensible, reliable answers! I have noticed that you are in Thunder Bay, you may know a bit of my heritage when I tell you that my Dad, John E Cook Sr., built the Lodge at Agawa. I was born in Toledo Ohio and at Two weeks old a landed immigrant and spent the first year and a half at Agawa.

    Good day,

I was following your thread on Global Cooling and when I came to the part about a test bed it struck me there might be something there that could help a lot of people as well as our marine community. Our Historical Vessel Vega is deeply involved with supporting WHO immunization programs for developing island nations. We are currently completely redoing our freezers and cold boxes to be able to carry vaccines and other temperature sensitive medical supplies for the extended periods these missions require. Our next program will be in the Solomon Islands where we will be for about 2 years supporting the ministry of health with their child immunization programs and various other public health programs. Bye the way we do this on a purely voluntary basis barely getting back our fuel costs.

So if we could, together, convince them of the value of a test it would be a win- win for a lot more than just our marine community and the makers.

Bye the way you can check with Richard from the maritime mobile net for more information on us and our work.
    Best regards

Hi Gord I was wondering if you know where sthneed can get spare parts for his raymarine st6000 auto pilot seems the electronics on his boat got zapped by lightning and thankfully no hull or structure problems but the only thing he needs to repair is the auto pilot, raymarine is giving him a fit so he is trying other venues, Thanks Tony

    Hi Gord,

In the thread 4-108, Cleaning gunked cooling system would you edit my intial post to say "4-108" instead of "208"? this is the 3rd line "Like everyone else my 4-208 overheats."

    Thanks

Gord...I see you are online so thought I would share about Trawler ED on the current bottom paint thread.
I believe he is actually a commercial poster posing as a "regular".
Over on sailnet he used the name ED and a screen name of boatgui. He had an AOL account with an IP address of 64.12.117.8 which resolves to Margate Florida...close to where Trawler Ed seems to hang out.
I may be off on this...but it is suspicious and thought you would appreciate the additional info. so you could cross check.
    Best...Cam
