    Hi Gord

Thanks for your advice on locating the glass suppliers. I have a quote from Custom Glass - its a bit expensive but it may pay for itself in the long run so I am seriously considering doing it.

Which brings me to my next request: I have tried Googling to locate some sort of a strength comparison between laminated glass and acrylic in the marine environment for use as windshields - with no success.

Were I however, building an aquarium, I would have lots of information.

I'd be grateful if you could find any opinions on the relative structural merits of these materials as windows.

    Thanks

    Hi Gord

    A favour please.

Could you kindly edit a post I made a couple of days ago.

    cruisersforum.com/forums/f124/lunasea-cold-cathode-fluoros-recommendation-24053.html

Specifically, I made mention of the color temperatures and dyslexia took over. It is the 4200K bulb which is super white and bright and the 3000K which is the softer light.

I could add another correcting post below - but that would be viewed as a blatant case of thread bumping - which is not my intention.

    Thanks

    Niels

It seems that for some unexplained reason my thread was deleted and I was wondering as to why, until then I have nothing to contribute to this site, since it was my only portal to work.
