    Don,

    Give me a call sometime; we're practically neighbors. I live 6 months of the year near the Merrimac border in Haverhill. Bored to tears here during the winter months, although I get out every day to ride my bike for a few hours, to keep me sane. But because of the boredom, I spend way too much time on CF. We were also a Hunter owner for two years, lot's of great experiences out in So Cal on the Hunter.

    Maybe we should start one and call it "The longest Thread Ever On CF", Only topics allowed, Hunters, guns, anchors, Colregs, Best Blue water boat, monos versus multis, and oh yeah - buckets - use and abuse

    You gonna start it? How long before the MODs shut it down?

    Hi Don - unfortunately, not everyone is willing to stand up for their rights, and some people, who've likely always had it handed to them, are calling me down on this issue.
    In the long run, they don't matter. But you're quite right, it's a shame it's turned this way. otoh, I was warned by m'v Close Knit, who posted the original thread, that something like this would happen.

    I've been googling/binging Cal 39 and found a lot of info. I also joined a couple of Cal groups. Looking forward (?) to looking at a few more before making the decision.

    Money's tight so I wanted to get as much "pre-info" I could before signing the contract.
