    Hi Dave
Im also interested in your expierences with the Wingaker.
How much did you use it? Still happy? What kind of sailing do you do with it?
Im mainly concernd because of some early (2012) reports of Wingakers tear apart after short use, maybe bad material.
    Thx!

    Hello Dave,

I'm going to add a Quattro Inverter/Charger to my L450 system next week. Wanted to know where you put yours and how you like the placement. Too loud? Hot? Etc. Thank you.

    Hi Dave,
I was looking at your L450 maintenance schedule with interest.
Is it still possible to get a copy in Excel format?
I live in the Cayman Islands, so it's not too easy to get either parts or advice here at times. Its always good to see and hear what other owners are doing.
We do day charters on our boat, so she gets a lot of use, but gives everyone so much pleasure.
You have to love the 450, so comfortable and so impressive under sail (far better than I ever expected).

DavefromNZ, Where. My L440 is in Whangarei. Mike is wrong. Flybridge is an absolute delight. My wife loves it up there while sailing. If the wind and seas are up you slow the boat down. Wind 15-20 on the beam it is a dream. I have been in 10meter seas but go slow so your just ride over them. It seems that sitting down in the aft cockpit in those kinds of seas scares my wife more than looking at the tops. The boat handles well. It is not a racer but you have to be mindful that you only spend 10-15 percent of the time sailing and the rest at anchor. The 10-15 might be a little long also. Take the comfort and enjoy life.
