    Hello Caradow-

While I have lived aboard for 4 year in San Diego, my cruising knowledge is limited to what I have read and heard.

I made a recent trip to Cuba with the University of CA- San Diego and saw an opportunity. I would like to start bringing boat parts into Cuba in anticipation of the lifting of the embargo. I met with a former government economist and he was also very insistent, as you are, that they will not allow what happened to the Key West reefs to happen to the Cuban reefs. I also met with scuba divers, cruisers and marine tour guides.

I am asking for any advice you might have. If you wouldn't mind completing my survey, I would appreciate it. Unfortunately, I cannot paste it here, the system wouldn't accept a url. Please email me at: ekocek(at)gmail(dot)com.

    Thank you!

Hello, I was intrigued by your message about Cats and making 200 miles per day easily. Id like to learn more about how to do that. Thanks, Howard

I was gone for the holidays, and i hate typing on an ipad. I'm back again, I'll try not to annoy the mods, but I'm really just trying to help people out. That's not me in my avatar, that's the guy from The Treasure of Sierre Madre. Take care.

    Hi Caradow..

Do you have Voyage CAT...that was always my first choice, then kinder surprised myself getting the Conser 47..potentially a very interesting CAT, but may have been a little bold for more first endeavor..what with the norrow hulls, light weight, wing mast..etc (although I hope to master and cruise within 18-24 months)
