I've done a non-stop from FWI to UK.. 47days at sea with 200litres.. arrived with 30 still in the tank so it can be done.
Wash in seawater and rinse off with 2l fresh in a shower bag, wash dishes in salt then spray with fresh from a squeeze gun to rinse.
Don't load up on rice, beans and other dried foods which waste water unless your happy cooking with seawater.. canned stews, fruits, boil potato's in their jackets with seawater then peel.. skins come off easy.
Lots of other little tricks that a general post on the forum will drag out from the 'Simpler Sailors'
Ignore the flack from the big boat know nothings
Hi Jimbo
Not sure how the hull/deck is attached but pretty sure someone on CF will know, its 95% Americans
As to it being something I would cross the pond in, yes depending on condition.
However routing and time of year are important.. I prefer the WI-Azores-Spain/Portugal route over the more Northern ones like NC-Bermuda-Azores etc, kinder conditions usually though a longer first leg of 2300nm so provisioning is crucial and water.

Hey Capn Jimbo
First I apologize for not responding. I faithfully read the forum daily items but was not aware of your question as this is the first time I have gone into my profile since joining. If you still want to chat about my electric experience, I am more than happy to talk. My # is 604 731 9716. I still am an avid 'electric' fan and think this segment will take off in a year or two once lithiums drop in price. Cheers Gerard
