G'day cap, I read your posts with great interest and it's great to see someone with some real practical experience here. The boats actually an Offshore 44 with a slightly different interior to the normal Roberts layout. I believe it was sailed to Fiji and completely refitted inside about 10 years ago now making it very comfortable for 2. It does now have a second double berth in the bow but that is rarely used. My only gripe is that I feel it's a bit underpowered with a 3cyl Pisces 40hp which is a bit small for a 13 tonne vessel at times but at 3lt p/h for 5knts I shouldn't complain. We have a walk in engine room which gives great access for servicing and also contains a 2.5kw single cyl Onan generator matched to a Heart Interface 2kw invertor/charger which we use when the 300watts of solar and Air-x can't keep up. All this power goes into a 600 amp house bank which serves us quite well. Good luck with your new web site and take care of yourself. Mark.
