Hello Bruce, I read your post about you going to Sandusky, refurbishing yachts and such. Very interesting. My x father in-law used to be a VIP at the South Bass Island state park. I've spent many a day cruising the area in his Lyman. I am also retired and live in the Cincinnati area. Since retirement I have had the urge to go north to the big lake and try some sailing. I've never sailed but always wanted to try. If you should ever need help sailing or even working on a boat I'd be very much interested. I'm moderately physically fit for a 60 ish old man, and am handy with tools, and not afraid of work. I can be at the lake in about 1/2 day now that I'm older. Just looking for something to pass the time and add a little enjoyment to my life.

I am in cincinnati ohio and am interested in your trip.
I may suggest bumping up your schedule as we usually have frost at night and 60 degree days and raining during the day. I would recommend leaving by the first of october.
