Yeah, I'm really not wayward either but it goes so good with wench. That's what my dad always called Mama. I'm impressed that you are working on your own boat. I read your stuff in Mermaids. Keep it up, you are neat. Brenda (birth name).

Hi Anjou, just saw one of your posts and noticed we are from the same area, I was brought up in a small village called Llanbister which is mid way between Llandrindod Wells and Newtown, I was there for New years eve and had a blast but was a bit cold! Am enjoying life in southern Spain and am preparing at the grand old age of 45.....to buy my first sailing boat and set off on a 3 year adventure! Anyway, just to say hello, I played Rugby often near were you are, happy sailing, best, Pablo!

    Anjou,
You now consider yourself a "senior cruiser?" You are quite talented, very amusing, and quite young. When you are gray and bent from the burdens of life, then you can join us old codgers and call yourself a senior cruiser!

Hi Anjou, I think your comments are very sensible; I can imagin that many potential female crew would be put off by skippers making improper or inappropriate demands. It should go without saying that there should be some ground rules before departure, otherwise the situation could become intolerable for either party. I myself, will be looking for crew spring next year and I certainly will not expect payment in kind!

I'm working on re-sizing a few pictures I have of the boat, but mostly all I have are some older shots when it was tied up, becoming dilapidated in the marina I sailed out of a year ago.

I'd rather not think of it as that same boat, haha. I should be able to get some under way shots here in the PI, though. Will post when I can. Before I go cruising too much around here, I need to get a haul-out. So it might be a bit before I put anything fresh up. Still, it'll happen
