I am doing what one never should so and buy their last boat first. I am 52 and planning to live/work aboard a boat and planning on an extensive stay in the Pacific. I use that sail calculator a lot to help compare boats I see for sale as well as find other models of boats that would suit my purposes. If you need help finding a place o put that data ( and web scripts to make it work), I may be able to help there.
