The S2 will only drive a type 1 actuator. You need a S3 or an SPX 30 for your drive unit. If you believe the current computer to be faulty, send it to Raymarine in NH for repair.

Can you confirm if this unit comminicates normally on seatalk 1 or seatalk 2? I have a type 2 drive on a 56 ft cat with two old st7000 control heads and an updated s3 corepack which i believe is defective, i would have thought that the s2 smartpilot corepack would be capable of driveing a type 2 drive with either the st6001+ control head or hopefully that and 1 of my st7000 control heads (with a cable convertor unit) what are your thought?
What is the situation/ why was it removed from its boat?
where is unit situated, our boat lives in St Martin, we are currently in BVI's, and will b flying through new york in 2 weeks on way home to australia.
