Hi Tore. I have Teamviewer on the ASUS netbook and on the Galaxy Note II. But what I need to learn is how to configure the router (Cisco Linksys E1200) to interconnect the two devices using wireless WITHOUT being connected to the internet (as in while at sea). I'm downloading Cisco Network Magic (for the netbook) and Network Assistant (for the Galaxy) so will explore those for any gems of knowledge I can find. Cheers and beers. Terry

You need to download software on both units to make the connetion over WiFi/LAN
I think the best one is TeamViewer. Download the PC version on your laptop and the
app on your android tab.
