Pearson P39 Hull #72 gets a "makeover" below the waterline.

the tape comes off

and the boot stripe pops

3 coats, primed and gorgeous

and off comes the tape

to both sides

2nd coat applied

ahh, that looks better...first 55 lbs of Trinidad (oops, I mean Gallon)

again on the backside

after sealing and priming

same process aft

fairing in the "chips"

looking aft

the worse it really is

and the closer we get

Looks great from a distance (don't we all!)
