Ok, we moved "Millie C Moore" to Galesville MD, to a great little marina. We have gotten her dry inside now, the prisms' were leaking. Starting her teak decks Monday,
(we found the King of Teak) also replacing some of her electronics. Then pretty much she is ready to go. We found a great 100 ton Capt to take us to the Keys, she is a non-screamer, calm and knows these waters. Also Chris (a good friend and sailor) will be flying out for the whole trip. As soon as Capt Dorothy get the game plan down and we go over it. I will update you and see if you still/where are able to jump aboard.
    Great Day to you.

Will need names of Captains. We will keep you informed of our progress and see where/when you can jump on board.

Ye gads I would love that trip! but there is a lot going on at work so probably can only finagle the last leg across the Gulf. Lots of good captains out there, tell me if you need some names. I will say a prayer for you that you have now finally found your boat, Queenie sounds wonderful! I am excited to help with the teak, I love teak decks!! Let me know about a slip and I will talk to the marina. The nice thing about Waterford is the friendly staff and a perfect record of no boat loss during IKE. I figure the savings in insurance costs and the decrease in worry over every single weather system that might develop into a hurricane more that makes up for the higher slip fees. I am paying 380 a month for a 40 footer plus a 60 or 70 dollar live aboard fee.
    Cheers,
    Erika

The 47 fell through but we put an offer on a 42 Vagabond that is located in
Rock Hall, MD. Survey is Monday my fingers are crossed. All joking aside if this goes through well are planning to leave out of here 1st of Oct. or there abouts. We will be looking for someone to Captain us home. We would love for you to join us on the last leg if you would like. But of course I am always planning and looking way ahead. If all goes well we will talk about that. But in the mean time. Hope your move went well, let me know how you like the new marina. As we will be in need of a new home when we get there. "Queenie" this one has teak decks in somewhat good shape.

Thank you for the offer, this one has no teak decks though. We are putting the offer in today, hope it is excepted. If not we'll be on the road again. However if it is accepted it would be the best present ever. We still have your book and will return it asap, if you need it now I will mail it to you. Have a wonderful day an good luck on the move. We may be looking for crew to get her back to Texas, please keep that in mind.

    PS.
That would be a great birthday present - Vagabond 47. Also, I am a retired varnish lady (they called me queen varnisha ) and would be glad to help with the wood if you need it.
