Just read your post and wanted to comment on a couple of things. I'm in Miami starting a search for a cat as well and I'm very interested in avoiding the fla Taxman. I've looked at keeping the boat in the Bahamas or other tricks but I'm starting to feel I will have to swallow that bill. Also was looking into taking advantage of the low Euro and buying a DE registered cat in Turkey (they seem to register in DE a lot over there)

Did you buy outside of FL on purpose or the right boat just showed up in DE?
I saw you were looking at Lagoons and Leopards, what did you end up with?

I'm interested on the 38-46 range and on the lighter side but not quite sure yet. Under 250k and doesn't have to be pretty, if you have any leads I'll appreciate it.
