Have you been watching the Sailing Tangaroa epsisodes on YouTube? Well worth watching. What will you do with the motor? Mount it amidships and have a pivoting shaft? I surveyed a cat that had a stern leg that swung up. Another cat I surveyed used the Diesel engine to power a hydraulic pump that powered a shaft in each hull. Friends with a Pahi 42 have outboards in pods that work well.
