    Hi Warren -

As long as you knew the depth of the water you wanted to go in, you were OK. If there was 7-ft of water, we nearly 100% of the time could get in. Sometimes in the very shallow waters - 6'8" to 7' - I would hang on to the swim step on the transom and give directions to Betty to steer around coral heads or rocks.

I never saw the mechanics report but he seemed to really like her and did point out a couple of things that I never finished up.

If you still would like to buy her and can wait until July 1(assuming we haven't sold her in the mean time) you can have her for $25,000. You are the only person that Mike is going to hold me to the terms of the contract I signed with him - so I have to let 6-months go by before I can sell it to you without having to pay his 10% finders fee.

Doug & Betty Brown send me a "private message" and I can talk more

Mr. Brown. Warren Jenkins, here. I nearly purchased Awen Evenstar. Perhaps it was me but I found it challenging working through Mike Brown especially when it came to a surveys. Just my sense of things...it could have been me. First, based on your postings here, I'm impressed with the breath and depth of you sailing knowledge and the resources you're selling. Two things - 1. is your listing of items for sale updated when sold? and 2. did you find Evenstar's draft a hinderance to exploring the 'islands'. Thanks for your time, Warren Jenkinss
