Yes. It performs excellent! We were in 18 Knots near Ventura and ran great with full sail (cutter rig).

We then Took it from Santa Barbara to Ventura motor and Main sail in 23 Knot with 12 foot faces... again... performed very well... deck never go wet (and neither did we). Took 4 hours. Going into Ventura harbor was an experience with these seas. But this boat just continued to perform well and we got into the harbor safe and sound.

We then had it trocked up to Alameda. Svensons boat works did a great job with removing rust, placeing rust inhibitor on the keel and getting a new paint job. THen they replaced all the standing rigging and fabricated new spreaders (wood replacements). Finally they reworked all the electrical in the mast and we had running lights, steamer lights and anchor light for the bay trip.

The wind was 22 gusting to 30... we wimped out and motored down to Redwood CIty... But it was still fun and a great experience.

    Dave
