Hi Yargesol I am new to this forum and never saw your reply which I have stumbled onto now. I appreciate the contact and wasn't ignoring you I just didn't see your reply. My 15.5 yo daughter and I are doing our first significant trip on my Imexus in April this year trailing all the way up to the Whitsundays in Queensland for two weeks cruising during her school holidays. We did a one week shakedown cruise down here taking along one of her friends ( who had never sailed or slept on a yacht) here on the Shoalhaven River that runs through Nowra just before Christmas. We have chartered a 33 foot yacht together previously and I had sailed up there several times previous to that as well.
Our April trip has just gained a hitchhiker being an ex girlfriend of mine from 38 years ago which could be interesting with us being trapped on a tiny yacht together for two weeks. Kind regards Graeme and First Mate Annabel.

Great,Grith ! So, you navigate with Kangaroos ? )) I love my Imexus - very easy to handle and quite convinient small cruiser - we've been cruising to Finland with a team of 6-x for a week. 2 kids you may count double - that was great! And, small expences to keep for a winter (aah, you don't have to do that!!)). Cat is a different story - good for live aboard

Hi I am another owner of an Imexus 28 and am located in Kangaroo Valley New South Wales Australia. I am experienced yachtsman of nearly 50 years on and off sailing experience. I am converting my 180hp inboard Imexus as a retirement platform for traveling cruising and exploring hopefully for around 6 months out of every year.

I have had smaller trailable yachts previously but have moved up to the Imexus planing to live on board for more extended periods than would be capable on the smaller Trailer Sailers I have previously owned.

I would love to have some communication with another owner who both has sailing experience and owns an Imexus 28. Regards Graeme Smith

PS I seriously reviewed the catamaran option myself but after many sailing adventures decided I didn't like the long passages between the cruising destinations required in this country and also wish to travel some of our diverse and interesting inland waterways and lakes.
