Sorry to be so long in getting back to you - I have been traveling. Yes I actually have a couple of Hammerheads. (A rt800 and an XT). They do work for me and for the price I think they are a good deal, lots of Hard drive room for charts and notes (if I were that organized!). I like the screen display size and the ruggedness. What I am not too crazy about is cost of batteries so I have mine running off of the 12volt boat system via a cigarette plug in - I think that may get wet but I suppose I could have planed my lighter in a better position.

marine chartplotter by hammerhead. Did it work out for you.? I have one also and need info.
