Just joined the forum and saw your profile picture of "Splendor". Beautiful boat. I purchased a very similar boat about a year ago down in Florida and brought it to Tennessee to restore in my back yard. My 1964 Frisco Flyer III, yard #1238, named "Cheoyous", previously went by "Sword Fish" while in Florida, and before that, when ported in Los Angeles, was named "Brenda Jane." I've read that the "Frisco Flyers" were originally called "Pacific Clippers" and wondered if yours might have gone directly to Hawaii, rather than to the broker in San Francisco who dubbed them "Frisco Flyers". From the photo in your profile, I can't see any difference, but wondered whether you might know if they're the same.
Do you take yours out often, or have you done any long cruises. I've heard that, in spite of their small size, they're quite capable of blue water cruising. Any thoughts on that? Hope I haven't asked too many questions and hope to hear from you.
