Hi David,

I read your message that you're planning on sailing from Cape Town to Brasil in January next year. I'm planning on going at the same time of year, and was just wondering on the off chance you might need a crew member to help on the yacht. I've been to Rio before, it's a beautiful city - but very pricey! Still unmissable, and carnaval is at the end of February next year.
I'm 28 years old, fit, healthy, trustworthy and responsible with a valid passport and no criminal record. I don't have any sailing experience but will do a sailing course and spend some time on the open seas before I go.
My plans are to backpack through Brasil to Colombia, where I'll base myself and get a job teaching English. I'm currently employed at a local language school in Cape Town.
