    Gord,
Leaving for Thompson Island and then on toward Rossport on Friday. Probably will not make it into Thunder Bay this year. Maybe will visit next year. Hope all is well.

Hello. I was perusing the forums and ran into a discussion that you were involved in regarding choosing a monohull sailboat for living aboard. You seem very knowledgeable, and I was wondering if you might be able to steer me in the right direction. I am 30 years old, male, single, and on SSDI. I am thinking about getting under way in about two years, if possible. I need to get some experience sailing and working on boats in the meantime, while I save up for a fixer-upper and actually fix it up. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

    Thanks,
    Mike

I tried wiring my bilge pump but with less than successful results.

I had a HC33 which burned last year, which was wired properly to battery. To the panel, where I could turn it on manually. And when the float switch activated the panel light would come on, showing me (on night watch) that the pump was operating. There was also a high-water alarm.

I saw your diagrams and was very impressed. It looks like that is how my old boat was wired. (By the way, you can see photos of the fire at our blog: dolphinsvoyage.blogspot.com)

But when I download the images, they are too blury to make out specific details. Are the images available in sharper detail? Could you email me them? May I offer anything for your images?

Your help would be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks,
    -Mathias

P.S. I tried "PM-ing" this, but was not a "trusted member." You can contact me via my username Dolphins or via my email which is mdubilier at aol. Thanks.
