Ok, Just tried a Summer seasonal. Yes, something I didn't brew! Alas....

It's Pete's Wicked Strawberry Blonde (Lager).

Aroma: Fruity, hint of strawberry.
Color: Bright lively looks like an Apple cider.
Head: light fluffy, settles down and down to 1/4" in short order.
Carbonation: bubbles on the large side, dissipates in relatively short order when poured to glass.

Flavor: only a hint of strawberry, very light, nearly no mouth feel or body. Very much like a light beer offering.

Almost to the letter of the label. I read that after having tasted and written the above.

Summer ale.... Ok.
Good.... yea... not a favorite... will probably not buy again.
Will I finnish the 6 pack... maybe in a few weeks.... unless my folks polish it off when they arrive.

Tried Sam Adams Summer and Blue Point Summer in the same sitting--blind test with a friend. Both picked Blue Point.

Actually used to like Sam Summer, but next to Blue Point it sure loses something. I was actually surprised.
