Apparently so. I see a generic "do" here. This is a soiree for the Sexy Senior Sailing Sisters Seeking Soulmates Sorority. This is a women only group. I suspect quite a few of our own Mermaids group are in this picture. At my fairly agile and young age of 71, I think I was quite fortunate to escape with just my shirt torn. Bwhahahhahahah!

That's what they want you to believe. One comment from a girl in your daughter's peer group ....

Re: When To Go Gray ...

I too hate it when my remaining hair looks like a haystack. And I am not even a woman.

Who is she? Apart from having appalling taste in everything, what else does she do?

Why short??? I have seen some pretty striking women with long gray hair.

Re: When To Go Gray ...

I don't know any sheep either. I never watch the news or "gossip" style shows, so have absolutely no idea who she is, I would assume some kind of either singer/starlet genre, although nowadays one can be famous for just being famous, talent of any kind not necessary.

With a quick left turn back to the topic, I have to agree, why not long hair? No point saying that you can have it grey but not long just because it is a personal preference. Just be yourselves ladies, we will still fall for you, be it grey, blonde, long, short, or bald even sometimes.

I'm with you guys, long grey is just fine - it can be striking.

Is there any piece of clothing more disgusting than a thong?

I don't think men care much about that stuff. We want you to stay clean and stay lean.

End of rant.
I'm with you on the thong thing, but it was my husband's request that started this thread. He doesn't seem to care about the rest of the crap. I don't know why it is important to him, and I do not really care what others think, but I love my husband and want him to think I am attractive -- let's face it I'm on the downhill side of things. He is not a superficial man -- it is my independent and intelligence that is really important to him, but he just seems to like blond hair (I have had it a few other colors over the years that he hated, brunette was one)!

Is it bad to do something solely for the purpose of your significant other? I think not, besides I couldn't stand the two-tone thing anyway. I had thought when I am home in April, I could get my hair colored to a gray/white then the grow out would not be so traumatic, but I won't -- I love him and he does not ask much of me.
