My wife and I live aboard a Formosa 51. Presently her request is as follows.
Plenty of day light inside and a place of her own to read and listen to music.

Getting enough full spectrum lighting to prevent depression is a big issue here in the Pacific Northwest.

Galley space is always an issue so I built a full cover cutting board for the stove and another that spans the aft companionway. I am remodeling the V berth into a reading/den type area with stereo.
