Strange reason to move aboard...

I think I've just come up with the oddest situation for moving aboard: an 8 week old kitten.

The long and short of the situation is we've had a miscommunication with our landlord regarding the pets policy, and the new member of the family is not welcome at our shoreside residence. So me and kit (the family is still arguing about the name: Marin, Tortue, or Willow - my first choice of "You Damn Fool" being vetoed summarily) are moving aboard as of tonight.

And the significant other is seriously considering the purchase of a liveaboard.

Most likely this will be a temporary liveaboard, just a month or so until we secure new land-based housing. But it's time to do quick research and figure out what's going to be on the Orders of the Day for the foreseeable. I hope all of you with cruising cat experience are ready to advise...

On the internet, nobody knows you're a dog anchored in a coral atoll.
