Rough Swith a Parrot

We have an Eclectus parrot, great bird, but he doesn't like a lot of commotion. I was wondering how others that travel with parrots handle it when the seas get rough?

re: Rough Swith a Parrot

We had an acrylic travel cage custom built and mounted to the wall in an aft cabin. Our African Grey went in there underway & at night. Did fine and Greys tend to be high strung.

On one particularly rough crossing she chewed thru her perch.

I would take the parrot out for few test sails to see how it works out.

Note: crossing international borders with a parrot can be a PITA.
