One Year-Old Headed to Sea of Cortez

Just a shout out to any other families headed south to Baja, the C of C and maybe even further down the Pacific Coast this winter... we'll be there with our 1 year old son Ronan

Well done and good luck! We sailed with our 6 month old son born in Gibraltar, he was 4 by the time we got back to Australia.

Get that netting up all around the lifelines.....and always be aware where he is at all times!!

I'll see you down the coast somewhere.

That's great!!! Does he cry at night? Just thinking about how close/far we'll want to anchor from you!

Sea of Cortez, 2 wk. 1st time trip Sept. 28th 2011

With my Shawn Breeding and Heahter Bansmer's guidebook, I've been planning our 1st time trip. Would welcome any helpful experienced insights from those of you that have sailed the area before. The "must do and see"....etc...We'll be sailing between La Paz and Bahia Aqua Verde, including Isla Espiritu Santo, Isla Partida and Isla San Francisco. Any helpful info appreciated!!

No kids sailing with us...I didn't mean to depart from the theme of your thread regarding sailing with kids. I went a head and started another thread so as not to take away from the purpose of this thread. Have a great time in the Sea of Cortez.
