Re: More Men-and-Women Issues

A woman can look as girly as she wants... if she can fix the engine... so much the better!

If had to choose which gender I prefer for a crew if the male and female candidates were of equal competence.. I would choose a female because I like having a woman's perspective, taste, and sensibility... and they smell better too.

No, it just gave him a buzz. I thought it would be funny but the comment spoiled the moment.

Anjou, I think you are in the wrong country. A person like you could step into the boatyard my boat frequents, and with in a month be making close to 6 figures (for the year). Charile Cobra started with nothing 2 years ago in the same boatyard.
And there are plenty of strong women on the west coast. You could go to BC if its easier for your passport...

He behaved like the insensitive ass clown that he is. And you are sure to meet others like him throughout your life. Male and female alike. As all others have stated his/their assumptions and opinions are none of your business. It's always best to avoid those that criticize. Seek out people that encourage and are positive.

Shake it off. Chin up. Suck it up. Walk it off. Carry on your own path. Because dwelling, or campaigning for change, will only frustrate and deter you from your goals. Complaining is good for venting steam from the brain and the heart, but continuos complaints makes you forever their victim. Don't own their words. Own yourself.

Why would you put so much weight to words spoken from a person you've just met? You know yourself better than him, you know what's inside you. People you care for, have friendships with, know what's inside you. People here on CF might not know you well or have met you, but we have a very strong sence of your spirit!

You'd make an awesome project manager! Your blog is a resume to that. I'm sure of it.

I think we all know where the red nose goes! LOL

I just love that description. It fits some so well!

ass clown (ás kloun) n.:

one, who, through the fault of his parents conception, is a skid mark in society's collective underwear.

Re: More Men-and-Women Issues

Anjou, I wonder why you make such a fuss, well maybe its was a rainy day with nothing better to do. A person of your abilities has nothing to answer for. The world abounds with jerks, men and women. It matters not what your gender is, competent people intimadate the maladroit.

Build your boat.. ignore fools, they abound.
