Most middle aged women I come across are still in good physical shape and have been dealing with men (and life) long enough to become confident in their own abilities and have a better and stronger personality. Whilst many have lost the 'girly' beauty of their 20s many have developed a more mature beauty that is truly appealing because their confidence and self-assurance shows through.

I'll take a woman in her 40s over a flighty, 20-year hottie every time. Lucky for me, Mrs Minty fits the bill.

But so far we've been here a fair bit less than that - only (!) 200,000 years. Even our remotest ancestor made a first appearance just 2 million years back. It's planet earth itself that is said to be 4.5 billion years old.
