How Many Cruisers are Married ?

We meet lots of cruisers while we are traveling, both anchored out and at dock. We have started to notice commonalities or trends in the people we meet and one thing we were wondering on is the percentage of real or wanna-be cruisers that are married and cruising.

Are you a cruisers and married, single and looking, single and like it that way, or committed but not married. Sound off!

We put a poll up on our blog as well, check it out at Cruiser's Nation

We are not "real cruisers".

We are still married.

Does that mean anything?

Wannabe cruisers (I assume that means someday-but-not-right-now cruisers?); and married, plus baby.

I'm single and like it that way. I suppose I am a wannabe in as much as I can only cruise for short periods because of a need to earn a living. Someday when I go from independently poor to independently wealthy.....................

We just celebrated our 40th wedding anniversary while sailing back to Florida from the Bahamas. We've been fulltime liveaboard cruisers for 38 years.

As my mother-in-law told me the day before the wedding, "marriage isn't all bad". So far so good.

Married one time for 38 years now, and still going strong. Sailed around the world with the family as well.

Maggie and I were married twice (to each other); first in 1968, then again in 1995.
