Encyclopedia recommendations for cruising families

I wanted to get the pulse of the cruising community on bringing a big heavy set of encyclopedias with you on board for extended family cruising with ocean crossings included.

I think Behan from totem has said see sees a big advantage for the kids to have a tangible book to hold and explore, especially when there isn’t internet available or the speeds are too slow to be useful.
Does anyone else have any first hand experience?
Sorry if this topic has been covered. I couldn’t find it in a search but feel free to point me in the right direction.

Re: Encyclopedia recommendations for cruising families

Kiwix is an easy to download Wikipedia. I personally prefer to use books, but when I am traveling, I rely on kindle or tablet with Kiwix to read. Superstar once downloaded but it can take up lots of space if you want pictures.
