Dogs and Fiji

Hello all anybody out there been to Fiji with dogs, sounds like they would have to stay on board at all times ? Any feedback would be a great help ,

We took our dog thru Fiji in 2012. He wasn't allowed ashore and we had to leave a bond in case we disobeyed their rules. They returned the bond to us on departure.

Thanks, we left Australia via Cocos Keeling to Phuket, Andamans, Malaysia, now Borneo, next New Guinea, hoping to work our way towards Fiji on the countercurrent in march. So far has been no drama, but think it's going to get harder?
Any info so we can plan is a huge help. Anyone needing some info this way welcome.

The Pacific countries are generally a problem for yachtie dogs. The Caribbean is the opposite and is very easy to cruise with a dog.
