Cat in the Cayman's

We were thinking of stopping in the Cayman Islands (Grand Cayman specifically) for a few days on our way to Belize. We have a cat on board that never gets off the boat, but it would appear that Cayman Island rules for having a pet on board are designed for people arriving on a scheduled airline and virtually impossible to comply with on a sailboat. Does anyone have any experience visiting the Caymans with a pet on board that can offer any advice?
