Caribbean Family Cruisers for 2012

I'm wondering who is planning on cruising the Bahamas and south for the 2012 season. I've got my wife and I plus 2 kids that are 7 and 10 now. We've done extensive cruising and have had a blast but feel it might be a good idea to find some other kids of similar ages that might be going our way.

We don't follow a schedule when we go. We are tentatively planning on stopping in the Bahamas then sailing down island with a return through heading west through Jamaica and then along the Yucatan.

If you are planning on something similar, we might want to cross paths or perhaps even try to parallel our path. We are active. We dive and fish all the time. We are not the reading crowd that sits on a boat or in a local store all day. We tend to find the unpopular and uninhabited islands and stay there till a 2 days before supplies run out then make a run for it to reload.

I'm a Captain and a musician by trade. If you want to grab a glance at who we are before contacting us, you can check us out at a few sites (they need updating but you'll get the idea)

Hope to hear from you. I have the settings so you can email me directly. You can also find our email on the websites.

We are HOPING to hit the Bahamas in Jan of 2012 but there are many variables to that equation and they all have to do with how quickly we can progress on the necessary boat projects.

We'll have our two girls aboard- one will be just turned 12, the other will be comin gup on 2 years.

We're planning a trip that right now finishes in Argentina before sailing home, but depending on how things work out, we might continue up to the Bahamas in 2012.
My elder boys will be 12 by then closer to 13.. My daughter 10.
I really do hope we continue up the eastern american coast line, there are a lot of great things I'd love to take the kids to see.

We plan on blasting out of Government cut, straight to Bimini, then work our way down through the Bahamas.
No dates inked yet but we will most definitely post when they are.

Our kids found this cool family video:
