First time my girl spent much time on a boat, I noticed her eyes light up listening to VHF traffic. It still engages her.

Finally, to return to the REAL topic: she did demand "no pooping under the bed" as her sole non negotiable condition during the boat search.

Well - of course we're all different. Even the ones with long hair (Pip) can do without a hair dryer if you're sailing in warm weather. But salt-water shampoo is a must.

Do the baggies. All of you. Think of the sealife.

Hot tea in the morning and a working heater are nice but nothing seems to make my lady happier on the boat than spending 15 minutes making up the bed (where I normally sleep in my clothes, in a sleeping bag) with proper sheets, a comforter, and pillows.
