See not all women need to be kept, just loved and respected!
great post. Hope to see you out there.

I think that is half the point of this thread.

What most men want .......is a good woman

How do you get a good woman to come cruising?

Give them what they want

What do women want?

See above!

One of the BIG secrets with women (ashore and afloat) is........

.......to get there name right

(says a bloke who once lived with a woman for several months - before getting caught out on not knowing A long story to be fair I had been drinking. and after the first month it does get a bit awkward to ask..........

...........nowadays they all get called............. "Boss" Me is a one by one guy - but also works well when "multitasking" , although perhaps not so well on the same boat............

a bit dikslyxsik but this works for me...............names.............

twinkle toes.

honey bunch.

light of my life.

mon fleur.

mon choux sourris.

mon petit ousieau.

also try one of these cocktails

1 cup friendly words
2 heaped cups understanding
4 heaped teaspoons time and patience
pinch of warm personality
dash of humor

measure words carefully, add heaped cups of understanding, use generous amounts of time and patience, gently caress mixture untill bubbly.

add a dash of humor and a pinch of warm personality.
season to to taste with spice of life.

and a back rub helps, remember women are humans(super) as well...........

Well, I'm entertained!

DOJ, you've gotta get kicked out of the SSSS club for that last post, no? Hell, you oughta get kicked out of something. Some things are just not to be spoken -- let alone typed.

First time my girl spent much time on a boat, I noticed her eyes light up listening to VHF traffic. It still engages her.

Finally, to return to the REAL topic: she did demand "no pooping under the bed" as her sole non negotiable condition during the boat search.

Well - of course we're all different. Even the ones with long hair (Pip) can do without a hair dryer if you're sailing in warm weather. But salt-water shampoo is a must.

Do the baggies. All of you. Think of the sealife.

The idea is to store them till you next go ashore.... which sadly some trans oceaners do not...

I need a woman that's very accepting.
My woman needs a man that's very tolerant.
It's worked for us for 25 years.

What a woman needs?

No big secret!

If you see a way to make her life more pleasant on board then suggest it and watch that sparkle light up in her eye, because you did.

A woman needs “patience” from her partner, because her time management is much more democratic than ours.

What women need the most is to feel loved…and if all else fails…rub her feet!

You’ll be glad you did.

Re: A Woman's Needs

Don't forget the water maker, and also, regardless of the size of the dink or what it's rated for it needs to have least a 5HP motor or she won't even step foot aboard?

Re: A Woman's Needs

Hot tea in the morning and a working heater are nice but nothing seems to make my lady happier on the boat than spending 15 minutes making up the bed (where I normally sleep in my clothes, in a sleeping bag) with proper sheets, a comforter, and pillows.
