Wimmenz need inverter, hot shower, private and personal head/vanity (youse use yer own sumplace else). Yup, plenty da pillows too! Fridge and freezer and fresh lettuce. Clean towels. Gotta have dinghy with SEATS, no riding on the toobs with a wet butt neither. She also won't help with breakfast if itz cold out from under the covers so youse gotsta have heat.

It is great that you are trying to make a space for your gal. Every woman is different, I require water (doesn’t need to be hot), a clean proper working head and plenty of toilet paper (my guy laughs when I stock up for a two day offshore trip with 8 rolls of TP). Some women like to rough it some want a more civilized setting, ask her what her main requirements are for being comfy and work from there. If she hates to camp then you will probably want to get as big of a boat as you can afford.
I live aboard a PS34, no hot or pressurized water, no separate shower compartment. I love it. The main reason I love my boat is because it has the most important feature I need...my wonderful man.

I've found that providing her own and separate bathroom works well for her and me. (Hers should be twice as large as yours.)

You guys really are funny. I require a head that is not open to the rest of the boat....TP we sort out with the aforementioned baggies, water is not hot. What I mostly require is a companion that does not turn into a cranky yelling fellow while under sail.

I get a lot of woman onboard, so this is In general -and was surprised to find out how much toilet paper they use consistently compared to me/men- figure 1-2 rolls a week per woman verse 1 roll every 3-4 weeks for a man !I buy any toilet paper and the heads have no trouble sucking them down and out! Seems most of them like a hair dryer/blower that takes a big inverter- One woman brought about 10 pair of shoes for a week charter, so some need more living room to put there stuff!! Nice clean sheets/ pillows /Shampoo/conditioner & face moisturizer

My limited experience agrees with Erika's comment that every women is different. I recall one female crew who was basically okay except she went through incredible amounts of water. Another female crew had quite unreasonable privacy needs. Another woman used enough toilet paper to make a bunny - every time she used the head. We'll skip the one who tried to put the boat under the bow of a cruise ship - not relevant. *grin*

The things on the boat that have been most appreciated by women, including my current long-term partner, include:
- electric toilet that will swallow almost anything
- Espar air heater
- generator and A/C for really hot, still Chesapeake summer nights
- good food (good cooker, refrigerator, freezer)
- large quantities of baby wipes (reduces shower needs)

One other thing to consider is the location of lockers and other storage. On my boat one of the lockers in the head is against the hull. In summer, even when the A/C is running it gets warm in there. Without the A/C it will be easily 10F above outside ambient. That is NOT a good place for make-up and other girly products. Janet doesn't use much or often, but what we carry has to be stored where it won't be ruined. Same rules for chocolate. *grin*

Comfortable places to sit have been very well received. Below we have a couple of triangle-shaped pillows that Janet really likes for propping up on the settee while reading. Sport-A-Seats are great for turning any cockpit into a comfortable place to be. I'm trying to figure out how to pack one of the seats to take with me on deliveries. There are some really uncomfortable boats out there. *grin*

Funny you should ask, that depends on the woman I suppose, since today is Valentine’s day I will give you an example-I met this Gal a few months ago- , how I won her over was I showed up at her home with 1200 pounds of Horse **** and dumped it in her front yard , then planted a garden for her when she came home that day from work it was instant love- after she got over the smell-shes now dropping everything and coming onboard for a 6 month trail
