Apparently this is what women need on a boat.

Ladies - Make sure you provision plenty of water for showers and a space for his Old Spice...

I have no idea if he is any good with electricity...

*kerching!* Altho I'd happily sail with a fella with whom the arrangement was 50/50 ... but finding that balance can be tricky - even if it's negotiated beforehand. I'm half-blind so they assume I'm additionally mentally challenged or just plain effing stupid (despite having a Masters degree to the contrary). That crap is beyond infuriating.

Due to the sight thing I prefer to work within my own limits, pushing myself at my own pace, rather than have someone else do it for me or foist their own pace on to me...hence soloing is a more attractive option.

It boils down to CHUM, chums ...

Understanding
Mutual respect

Those comments ring true, zee - as do yours Sailor g. A mobile nest on the sea is the best kind of nest I can think of. The wanderer's life is rich & rewarding!

Any single women in their 30s with a catamaran? I'm available.

If you quit your job and go sailing by yourself, you're crazy. If you quit your job and go sailing with a partner, you're in love and it is accepted.
