I'm not sure that would attract the right kind of woman.

. . .

Shucks Ex-Calif - it sure sounds like you have neither a sense of humor or irony. Did you not notice . . .
"I love a guy who dreams big with small resources. Although getting a woman to fit his list of permissible attributes is more akin to finding a earth-like planet in this cosmos. "

I was not trashing anything but giving your overly indulgent post a good chain pulling. I guess you are way too uptight.

Attacking my person about having or not having a distaff side is way over the top especially since you do not know me or my wife who like your woman does not appear to be from the California or there abouts. Remember direct personal attacks are not Hoyle around this forum and if you really are a Moderator Emeritus you have definitely stepped way over the line.

Re: A Woman's Needs

Wouldn't it just be easier to find a woman with a boat?

Give them everything that they need if it means that they will join you or stay home except for an odd jaunt or two. Hopefully you find a SO that is suited to you and your boat because if you thought you shoveled money into the ocean now.......

In 7000 posts I have never misrepresented her yet her she lies, mortally wounded by such a brilliant and clever attack! Poor defenseless Relax Lah!

Double entendre? I get it size matters! Or so the guy with the 53 footer and no woman says...

Dude - I mean this in the nicest way. The reason your avitar shows the only p***y you get is not because you haven't found the right impoverished 3rd world woman who will love you for your 53 foot phallic raplacement device and be your galley slave. It really is because you are a neanderthal.

It is 2011. It is ok to let them vote and drive and everything!

Take a look - here is my SO driving my tiny phallic device and it didn't sink or anything.

Oh, and for a sailor she cleans up pretty good too...
you are a lucky man - you must have clean bathroom. here is mine - open sewer presently
hey Osirisail - some photos of the russian bird would be ice - thx

Swiping such a card at a counter or at the fuelling station might be a bit of a challenge?

[Screeching brakes] It is only the women of California and thereabouts who are at fault! This is good to know.

I must Skype my Californian sailing girlfriends (many of whom are much better sailors than I) & tell them to get off the water immediately or they will give the state a bad name. I will also instruct them to hastily create a vapid lifestyle in order they can fit with the general stereotype.

On a serious note, women who want all mod cons onboard or who can't/won't adjust to being on the water are everywhere. I've also known some men who fit that category - and none of them lived in California!

I think it's a shame that more women don't sail but to be honest, if most had to choose between being stuck on a boat on a stinking hot day, sweating like hell in a screaming easterly while a raving skipper goes out of his mind over something trivial ... or sipping chilled martinis with their girlfriends at the club, I think the choice would be easy for many of them.

Again, a wild generalisation but my point is that if sailing were a more pleasant experience for women, perhaps more of them would go?

Just putting it out there, not in a critical or judgemental way

cheers!
S

Hairy is fine. Stinky isn't.
Query: I'm clean shaven (hate beards). Can I have an earring? What about a tasteful tattoo?

Not to keep stirring this stew but maybe it's a Beach Boy's vs. Beatle's problem?
