I sent my oldest to a boarding school after he became too much to handle, it worked out well for him. Sometimes a teenager can become too focused on independance and confuses the rules of moral behavior with age dependant restrictions. Turning over part of parenting to a third party, (boarding school), allows them to see the difference, and experience first hand the consequenses of their behavior, and to achieve the independance they crave.

The youngest is on track to get his diploma before his drivers license.
