Captain Jacks in Portobello, Panama. You can order anything from the Port Supply catalogue delivered to this little village in the jungle and have a $1 beer or a $2 rumbo at the same time. Mild anarchy rules in Portobello and Jack rocks!

Favorite floating bar would be the Willy T (William Thornton) on Norman Island.

Favorite bar is Gertrude's on Jost Van Dyke. A close second would be Cooper Island Beach Club at sunset during happy hour.

The Pirates Bight on Norman is pretty cool too. You can get a bucket of Scotch! CaRiGa's (in the lagoon at Red Hook) St. Thomas is good too. Stupid cheap rum, great food, and great local crowd. Love shack should get a nod too I guess.

Pirates Bight is no more. It was just remodeled and renamed something like the New Norman Island. Can't believe someone on here knows of Carigas! I've been in there hundreds of times since I keep my boat in an adjacent slip.

Willy T is great. I also like Potters, Cow Wreck and Big Bamboo on Anegada, and Saba Rock.

Aruba, Charlie's Bar, San Nicolas.

Even Royalty like this old seamans bar.

In 1977, the Queen of Holland awarded Charles Brouns, Sr. with “The Order of the House of Orange”

The only souvenir I've ever gotten from many St Thomas visits is a "Bottoms Up" t shirt!

Re: Which is Your Favourite Bar

I'm with Gary and Pelagic. My boats cockpit is my favorite spot for libations. But, if I had to pick another it would be the Commodore Club on the Queen Mary2 on an eastward transatlantic passage enjoying a Martini before dinner while waiting for my companion to join me..

I do miss the vibe of Bottoms Up. Carigas is having an end of the world party. At times, looking around the place, one has to wonder if the world ended, would the patrons even notice.....
