When Your Reefer Dies

After a refrigerator or icebox dies and stays closed for a while, you can either sell the boat, sink it for an artificial reef or follow my 8-step program for restoring the reefer to something you can live with. Follow instructions at Janet Groene's BoatCook

You can also not use refridgeration (a few billion people across the planet pull this off every day).

i find that when a fridge ceases functioning, i have the best clarified butter--my butter goes twice as far because i have it separated ..lol..and my half and half lasts 3 days in summer and 5 days in winter. dont NEED fridge for cruising..LOL....i dont have one for normal everyday use..LOL..
