I've been successful with the little plastic sprouter that these folks now carry. Called the Easy Sprout now (mine's older)

The easy-sprouter is what you see for storing the sprouts on my photo's earlier in the thread. It is not very good for the thick bean sprouts (is why I came up with the DIY kit) but probably the best device for everything else. I also use the Sproutmasters they sell but are not so enthusiastic about those.

We used to grow sprouts (cress and mung beans in England) Where in Florida do you buy seeds? Grocery stores? Garden shops? Hardware stores? Health food stores?

It would be a pleasent change from romaine lettuce.
