Re: What is your best provisioning tip?

You oughta try Milo then.....considered a delicacy in Oz...usually floats on the surface like pumice after a volcan explosion....spoon it off or stir it in....

Buzz, that is a marginal post - this is a 'G' rated forum .

Re: What is your best provisioning tip?

Plain Bundy is awful. They are trying to pick up their act by making some better ones, but they have not really got to even Captain Morgan level yet.

Re: What is your best provisioning tip?

I agree... Bundy is a fine way to spoil perfectly good Coca Cola....

And as for the not so good Captain Morgan...blech....

I'm rather fond of Buckey Spiced Rum. Very mild spices, almost sweet - a bit like a mild version of those sweet Bourbons you can get....but without the horrid Bourbon flavour...

Havana Club at a pinch but Flor de Cana http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Flor_de_Caña or Abuelo Pal Sin Oficio: La Promoción del "Ron Abuelo Panamá" are my rums of choice... about $10 a litre in Chile. There are some good Dominican rums out there as well.
