What do you do with your gas bottles?

We use to have the blue campingaz and decided to buy a 13kg in Portugal coz campingaz are too bloody expensive! Now we're heading to France I wonder what we will do with the Portuguese bottle. Any possiblity of filling it up in France?

Re: What do you do with your gas bottles?

There are adapter fitting sets that will include fittings for matching up almost anything. But since Bluet Campingaz was, I think, a French company to start with, there may be an adapter sold there. That's a mixture of butane and propane, not just magic in a can. Sometimes plain butane can be used, as long as you are above temperatures of something like 5C.
